Treaty 7 Assembly
Students participated in an assembly today, commemorating the signing of Treaty 7. Rod First Rider, an Elder, gave a smudge blessing. After this, CES students, performed some traditional native dancing. The finale was an amazing demonstration of hoop dancing by Mr. Jerry First Charger. Students and teachers ended the assembly by doing the round dance.
