Cardston Elementary School is a Pre K - Grade 5 school with an enrollment of over 500 students.

At Cardston Elementary School our mission is to provide engaging and enriching learning experiences that help student reach their full potential. Through our dedicated teachers and staff, we strive to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages a growth mindset.
One of the ways we foster creativity is through our music program. Students have the opportunity to participate in music classes and whether it’s singing or playing an instrument, our music program allows students to develop artistic abilities. In addition to music, we also provide changing opportunities for our students such as hoop and break dancing, running club, gymnastics and equine therapy.
We also have on-site school councillors which are available to provide mental and emotional support for students. Counselling is offered in both individual and group settings. Counsellors focus on supporting students through challenges such as grief and loss, divorce, trauma and developing positive social and emotional skills.
Furthermore, we offer an after-school program through the Jordan’s Principal Grant. This program provides additional learning and enrichment opportunities for students outside of regular school hours.
